is it true the arellano university gave lame arguments during the debate and the ateneo de davao was rubbed of the award?

Both teams did well. They both deserve to be part of the grand finals.

You can watch it on Saturday, 2PM or Sunday 1AM.

In my opinion, Ateneo deserved to be the champs.

Most law students and lawyers assumed that AdDU will go home victorious. It was bad call for the judges.

Not necessarily. Both teams did well, and in all fairness to Arellano, never did they mention that these "sabbaticals" were what the framers intended. If I heard them correctly, they were never obliged to limit themselves with what the framers wanted nor the reasons of the courts for justifying term limits. That is just the adjudicator in me speaking.

Hi Arnel, its Kucil. Came across your blog and obviously read the comments. One thing's sure though, were proud of our feat, and we deserved to win. As always, truism tells us, everybody loves a winner, and everybody hates a whiner. We were never forced to answer issues thrown during the debate. Just one point, since the truth is, we do not need to explain, really. We are humbled by our feat. This is the only avenue where i will first and last tackle this. Its Primus Inter Pares at its best. Were cool about losing and gracefully accepts victory as well.

Anyway, so much for the criticisms. To each is his own. Respect is what we accord to every judge, its their discretion anyway. Like we commend our fellow debater from UST (check memorandum circular.wordpress.com) who even extended his goodluck to us after their defeat. Its people like him who doesnt show bitterness in losing at all.

So, enough of these. It wont change the tides and wont make them retract the episodes anyway. So what's the fuss? If we are the underdog? well, we have proven that "every underdog has its day." Res Ipsa Loquitur- The victory speaks for itself.

Hey arnel, i miss the YMCA days. so how are you? Never got the chance to meet you again after that. Knock at my blog doors at www.icanwritesomething.blogspot.com. I wish you goodluck in your career. Many thanks!

Hail to the Chiefs!

Res ipsa loquitur - The thing speaks for itself.

Its really unbecoming of to be bitter about it. A debate like any other contest is not a justiciable issue.
